The Fridericianum is delighted to point to the continuation of the tour of Melvin Edwards’s exhibition. After the artworks were presented in Kassel from August 31, 2024, to February 9, 2025, under the title Some Bright Morning, the Kunsthalle Bern honored the American artist’s work in a different tribute from June 12 to August 17, 2025. As the third stop on this collaborative tour, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris has now opened its interpretation of the show. It will be on display from October 23, 2025, to February 15, 2026, as part of the “American Season” under the artistic direction of Naomi Beckwith. It was curated by Amandine Nana and François Piron.
But Melvin Edwards is not the only artist who recently exhibited at the Fridericianum and can currently be admired in Paris: For Kassel Museum Night 2024, the Kunsthalle staged Alex Da Corte’s performance Kermit The Frog, Even, attracting numerous visitors to its exhibition halls. Now, from October 20 to 26, 2025, the bright green frog will float above Place Vendôme as part of Paris Art Week.
