In conversation with curatorial associate Jasmin Meinold, Catherine Opie provides insights into her artistic practice as well as the concept and themes of her exhibition The Pause That Dreams Against Erasure, the artist’s first major presentation in Germany. The discussion will touch on key motifs in her work, personal approaches, and the social context of her photography.
