Once a month, art educator and designer Roland Knieg invites those interested to a guided tour specifically focusing on the artistic interventions at the Fridericianum. These site-specific works beyond the exhibition spaces are meant to activate, accentuate or transform unused areas or visitor transit zones.

In July, the intervention MIMIKRY by Kerstin Brätsch will be explored. The expansive installation was developed by the Hamburg-born artist especially for the rotunda in the center of the Kunsthalle and forms the new setting for the café located there. It follows on directly from the café designs that Brätsch realized in 2019 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and in 2021 at the LUMA Foundation in Arles.
