Holiday workshop: Exploration Tour Through the Body and Machines

Wednesday, Jul 17, 2024 – Friday, Jul 19, 2024, 11 am – 2 pm

Together with artist and art educator Susanne Stein the young participants go on an expedition through the art of Ulla Wiggen. Her four work groups – depictions of circuit boards and other technical components, of people, of inner organs, and of the iris of the eye – will be examined carefully. The group tries different artistic techniques, such as collage, stamping, constructing, and drawing.

Susanne Stein studied visual communication in Kassel and works as a freelance graphic designer, artist and art educator. Every Saturday, she leads creative activities in the Studiowerkstatt for the current Fridericianum exhibition.

Final presentation: Friday, Jul 19, 2 pm – 3 pm
