International Museum Day – Analog and Digital

Sunday, May 17, 2020, 11 am – 6 pm

We warmly invite you to celebrate International Museum Day with us on Sunday, May 17, 2020. This year’s theme is “Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion,” and admission to our Forrest Bess exhibition will be free on the day. The Fridericianum encourages audiences to experience the museum through both analog and digital formats. During your visit you can actively engage the public by posting your favourite Forrest Bess painting on Instagram and tagging us. In the foyer of the Fridericianum, you will see special signs with the relevant tags to include in your posts: #forrestbess #lieblingswerk #MuseenEntdecken @fridericianum

We will also be offering live tours of the exhibition on our Instagram. In celebration of the theme of the International Museum Day, these digital tours will not only be presented in German but also in English and Polish.

1 – 1:20 pm: English
2 – 2:20 pm: English
3 – 3:20 pm: German
4 – 4:20 pm: Polish
