The digital dimension in the work of Kerstin Brätsch
with Louise Knafla

Many aspects of human life have been affected by digitization. It has created new forms of communication, work, learning, consumption, and togetherness while enabling us to discover new ways of accessing and sharing information.

Digitization has also had a significant impact on art, in how it is conceptualized and how it is consumed. In this thematic tour, art mediator Louise Knafla explores the influence of digitization and its possibilities in the work of Kerstin Brätsch and the concept behind the artist’s new site-specific intervention MIMIKRY. In the process, the potentials and challenges that arise for both the author and the viewer are also discussed.

Free of charge. No prior registration required. The event will be held in German.
