“New Faces of Culture” with Stephan Balkenhol and Moritz Wesseler

Thursday, Mar 7, 2024, 7.30 pm – 9 pm

As part of the discussion series New Faces of Culture, Prof. Stephan Balkenhol (Sculptor) and Moritz Wesseler (Director, Fridericianum) answer questions from Prof. Dr. Heidi Möller (University Kassel) and Barbara Ettinger-Brinckmann (Dipl.-Ing. Architektin BDA). The subjects of the conversation include 57 penguins and various dancing couples!

Prof. Stephan Balkenhol and Moritz Wesseler – two personalities who represent two perspectives of the cultural sector: As director of the Fridericianum, Moritz Wesseler  provides the framework for the presentation of art. The latter wouldn’t exist without the other perspective, that of the artists. One of them is the internationally known and awarded sculptor Stephan Balkenhol.

Cost: Admission is free. We welcome donations.

Moderation: The conversation will be moderated by Prof. Heidi Möller, University of Kassel, and Barbara Ettinger-Brinckmann, a qualified architect and BDA member.
