Inspired by Tauba Auerbach’s work in the DIAGONAL PRESS LIBRARY, this workshop involves folding, creasing and cutting. The participants will learn how a sheet of paper can be transformed into a three-dimensional structure using simple steps and cuts. When you unfold and open the papers, surprising pop-up effects are revealed. Whether spontaneously varied or precisely planned, the joy of experimenting always creates unique, individually designed pieces.
Susanne Stein studied visual communication in Kassel and works as a freelance graphic designer, artist and art educator.
