Staatstheater and Fridericianum invite you to an intimate musical experience, created by the song of baritone Stefan Hadžić and harmonious piano accompaniment. The dynamic interaction of art and music promises to satisfy not only lovers of the classical genre: In immediate reaction to the spatial setting Fridericianum, the songs can be perceived in new, maybe unexpected ways.
Stefan Hadžić was born in Belgrad (Serbia) and studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He was a finalist in The International Helmut Deutsch Lied Competition in Vienna and winner of the International Music Competition Osaka (Japan), Jeunesses Musicales Belgrade (Serbia) as well as the Bruna Špiler (Montenegro). The series Ö1 Talentebörse broadcasted a portrait about his career. From 2017 to 2019 he held a scholarship of the Swiss Thyll-Dürr-Stiftung. From 2019 to 2022 he was member of the studio and ensemble of the Cologne Opera, where he performed as the father (Hänsel und Gretel), the gamekeeper (Rusalka), the speaker (Die Zauberflöte), and the Dancaire (Carmen). Further engagements comprise the role of Dandini (La Cenerentola) at the Amphitheater Kanli Kula in Montenegro, the title role in Tschaikowskys Eugen Onegin and Verdis Falstaff as well as Don Alfonso and Guglielmo (Così fan tutte) at the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn, as Marullo (Rigoletto) at the Opera in the Quarry in St. Margarethen, as Alfred in the premiere of Der Goldkäfer at the Theater Basel, as Conte Almaviva in Mozarts Le nozze di Figaro at the Theater der Stadt Schweinfurt as well as Tonio (Pagliacci) and the title role in Gianni Schicchi at the The SzczecinOpera House. Stefan Hadžić regularly performs at concerts and recitals in Serbia, Hungary, Austria, and Germany.
Since season 2022/23 he is member of the opera ensemble at the Staatstheater Kassel.
