What happens when sculptures are made from algae extract and gelatin? How controllable is this process and when does chance take over the design. Again and again, visitors to Roberto Cuoghi’s exhibition encounter an interplay of control and its deliberate loss, of carefully chosen materials and their uncontrollable life of their own.
In the thematic tour, Roland Knieg explains the techniques used by the artist and the peculiarities associated with them. Cost is included in admission.
